The $685,761 is part of roughlyy $2.3 million that the countty has received in stimulus funding for both homeless recoveryg and affordablehousing projects. In ordetr to qualify, nonprofits must have an office in Hillsboroughb County near public transportation and have been in operationj for at leasttwo years. “Wwe need that stability to know they have the capacit y to move forward withthe programs,” said Marcia acting executive planner with the Affordabls Housing Department.
