The foundation joins of Kansas, the Deltz Dental of Kansas Foundation and theWalted S. and Evan C. Hughes Metropolitan Complex. It will house the program and acommunitgy clinic, exclusively. First-year residents will complete traininf there before rotating to community and rurallhealth sites. Recruiting for students and faculty already has startes forthe one- to two-year residency program. Beginning in fall the program will be locatedat , a Wichitwa community health center that provides medical and dental care on a sliding scale. Construction on the facility is set to begih thefollowing semester. The buildingh will be located on North Oliver Street, immediately soutg of the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.
With half of the fundws raised, the WSU Foundation continues its efforts to securwe the remainder of funding fromprivate sources. Naming opportunitiexs are available at all giving levels throughourtthe structure.
