Hawaiian Telcom, which is reorganizinfg under Chapter11 bankruptcy, said Thursday it will closr its Kapolei and Windward Mall store s on Oahu and the Lihue store on Kauau because of slackening demand and the high cost of maintaining the The Kapolei location closed earlier this The Windward location will close June 9 and Lihude will close June 16. The companhy said 23 full- and part-time employeeds will be affected bythe closures, but some employeesa will be transferred within the company. Hawaiian Telcom will have five storesw afterthe closures.
