Dayton region lands stimulus funds to improve water quality - Tampa Bay Business Journal:

The added three Montgomeryy County projects to its revised American Recoverhy and Reinvestment Actfundablr list. • Lesher Drive Sanitary Sewee Rehabilitation willreceive $150,000 in waterf pollution control loan funds; • South Dixie Sanitary Sewert Lining will receive $215,000; and • Western Regionao Tertiary Filters Rehabilitation will receive $1.2 million in stimuluse funds. Final approval of these projectsd and others announced earlier are still subject toregulatoruy approval. Other Dayton-area projects scheduled to receive fundinginclude $506,75o to connect Sidney supply service to Hillvie in Shelby County, $6 millionn to upgrade high service pumpes in Sidney, and $1.
8 million for a meteringt project in Sidney. The state is receiviny $58.5 million in stimulus funding for drinking water projectsand $220.t6 million in stimulus funding for water pollution control projects.
